Album Talk (May I have the PRETTY. ODD, please?)

Yes, something new. I'm still all about music. This week we take a look at Panic At The Disco's new album, Pretty Odd. To us, it is odd as Panic has made a huge leap.

From Wikipedia: ("It’s influenced by the music our parents listened to: the Beach Boys, the Kinks, the Beatles", says Ross.)

The songs are quite classical rock than modern rock. Many say it has the Beatles-ques feel to it. However, everyone saw the change in direction when "Nine In The Afternoon" came out.

Now you be the judge. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out V.S. Pretty. Odd. One is modern rock which may remind you of Fall Out Boy and other alternative rock kind of bands while the other is a walk down into your hearts and souls, hearing it and remember your lifes as it is.

Nevertheless, I rate this album as follows:
Album Design: 9/10
Song Melody: 26/30
Song Lyrics: 28/30
Album "Feel" (The impact is has on you): 29/30
Total: 92/100 (A*)
If you don't like the album, at least hear out ALL the songs!

Personal Favourites: We're So Starving (1) Nine In The Afternoon (2) She's A Handsome Women (3) That Green Gentleman (5) Northern Downpour (7) Pas De Cheval (9) The Piano Knows Something I Don't Know (10) Mad As Rabbits (15)
